HOUSING DIRECTOR GENERAL AND SIU HEAD HOSTS JOINT MEDIA BREAKFAST TO SHARE DETAILS ON THE PROGRESS INTO FRAUD AND CORRUPTION INVESTIGATION IN HOUSING.

The Director General of Housing, Itumeleng Kotsoane and the Head of the Special Investigating Unit, Willie Hofmeyer will host a media breakfast to share progress on measures put in place to fight fraud and corruption in the housing value chain.
The presentation will look at the progress on the investigation of government and municipal officials who received houses fraudulently, developers who left without finishing houses or built low quality homes and other fraudulent activities.
Members of the media will also be informed about the status on the current investigation and future investigations and progress thus far. It will also cover measures put in place to counter fraud and corruption in the allocation of subsidies and implementation of projects
