EASTERN CAPE SPECIAL INTERVENTION TASK TEAM TABLES PROGRESS REPORT

The Eastern Cape Intervention Task Team composed of officials from the National Department of Housing, Eastern Cape Department of Housing and officials from various municipalities will meet to plan and review progress made following their deployment to the province by the national Cabinet because of poor housing delivery and declining financial performance of the Eastern Cape Department of Housing.
During the meeting the team is expected to report on general progress, issues affecting the payment of emerging contractors, current financial performance of the EC housing Department, and projects with a specific view to identifying projects that are ready for implementation.
