GUIDELINES

Bidders should ensure that bids are delivered timeously to the correct address. If the bid is late, it will not be accepted for consideration. 

• It is recommended that bidders submit their bid proposals 24 hours before the closing time to prevent any misunderstanding.
• All bids will close at 11:00 on the closing date as indicated in the bid documents. The bid box is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at the Main Entrance of the Building.
• Please submit each bid in a separate sealed envelope, clearly marked with the address, bid number and the closing date.
• Posted bids should reach the office before the closing date of the bid and should be clearly marked with the bid number addressed to the Department of Human Settlements, Govan Mbeki House, 240 Walker Street, Sunnyside, Room 305, PRETORIA or Private Bag X644, PRETORIA, 0001. For attention: The Bid Section: Ms AY Venter and Ms M Hitge.
•  All bids must be submitted on the official forms – (not to be re-typed).
• Updated (valid for (1) one year) Original Tax Clearance Certificate must be attached to all bids.
• Completion of a Credit Order Instruction Form.
• The SBD 1, SBD 3.3, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, SBD 6.3, SBD 7.1 or SBD 7.2 and SBD 8 must be completed and signed. (Standard Bid Documents).
• The pricing SBD 1 and SBD 3.3 bidders are required to indicate a ceiling price based on the total estimated time for completion of all phases and including all expenses inclusive of VAT for the project.
• Bids are subject to the General Conditions of Contract (GCC) and, if applicable, any other special conditions of contract.
