MINISTER SIMELANE TO ADDRESS DEVAC INFRASTRUCTURE SUMMIT
Minister of Human Settlements, Thembi Simelane, will tomorrow, on 15 May 2025, deliver a keynote address at the DEVAC Infrastructure Summit in Melrose, Johannesburg.
The two-day DEVAC Infrastructure Summit, gathering under the theme: “Advancing Infrastructure Development and Accelerating Projects that Drive Africa’s Economic Growth and Prosperity” is an exclusive annual meeting where decisions makers from the private sector, multinational executives, international investors, African governments, and various other institutions get together to address and discuss partnerships that will help develop or improve the future of the infrastructure on the African continent.
In her address, Minister Simelane is expected to rally the delegates to partner with government to redress the pre-1994 spatial plan, implore the delegates to ensure the Department of Human Settlements delivers on the 2024-2029 Medium Term Development Plan (MTDP).
