DEPUTY MINISTER MAHAMBEHLALA TO HANDOVER HOUSES TO DESTITUTE, SENIOR CITIZEN

Deputy Minister of Human Settlements, Tandi Mahambehlala and the Deputy Executive Mayor of Oudtshoorn Municipality, Alderman Cllr Zoe Tyatya, who will be representing the Executive Mayor,Cllr Alderman Johan Allers will tomorrow, 13 June 2025 handover newly built houses to destitute and senior citizens as part of government’s efforts to eradicate mud houses and restore people’s dignity.

A few months ago, the hardships faced by the owners of the houses set to be handed over tomorrow were brought to the attention of Deputy Minister Mahambehlala who then urged the municipality to prioritise the allocation of these houses to destitute individuals and senior citizens.
