The Minister of Human Settlements, Thembi Simelane, together with Gauteng MEC for Tasneem Motara, and City of Tshwane’s MMC responsible for Human Settlements, Alderman Aaron Maluleka, will on 15 December 2025, hand over just over 200 title deeds to government housing beneficiaries in Hammanskraal, City of Tshwane. 
 

This initiative forms part of a nationwide campaign to accelerate the registration and transfer of fully subsidized government houses to rightful beneficiaries.
The campaign aligns with the Medium-Term Development Plan (MTDP), which targets the registration of over 80,000 title deeds across South Africa. This effort underscores the government’s commitment to providing security of tenure, promoting homeownership, and empowering communities economically and socially.
