The Deputy Minister of Human Settlements, Pam Tshwete will receive a briefing on the status of implementing the Military Veterans Housing Subsidy Programme in the Eastern Cape Province.

The Programme is administered jointly with the Department of Military Veterans (DMV) and is aimed at improving the housing conditions of Military Veterans and offer them security of tenure whilst contributing towards building an inclusive community with improved economic conditions and social security for all.

The meeting will be attended by the MEC for Human Settlements in the Eastern Cape, Siphokazi Lusithi, MMC for Human Settlements in Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality, Cllr Ntombizandile Mhlola, MMC for Human Settlements in Amathole District, Cllr Xhanti Mngxaso and the MMC for Corporate Services in Alfred Nzo District Municipality, Cllr Nomvuyo Msokana.
