Human Settlements Deputy Minister Zou Kota-Fredericks and the MEC for Human Settlements in Gauteng, Uhuru Moiloa will handover more than 490 housing units at the Sokhulumi Rural Housing Project

Human Settlements Deputy Minister Zou Kota-Fredericks and the MEC for Human Settlements in Gauteng, Uhuru Moiloa will handover more than 490 housing units at the Sokhulumi Rural Housing Project in Bronkhorspruit, Gauteng.

The project was allocated to members of the South African Women in Construction (SAWIC) Gauteng Co-Operative in line with the department’s 1956 Women Contractor Development Program aimed at ensuring that all provinces allocate One Thousand Nine Hundred and Fifty Six housing units to women contractors symbolizing the 1956 women’s march to the Union Buildings.
