Human Settlements Minister Nomaindiya Mfeketo and Western Cape MEC Bonginkosi Madikizela will on Thursday and Friday visit the protest-stricken Eden District Municipality to engage with communities on their housing concerns.

The event comes after protests in Plettenberg, and George highlighting the plight of communities to acquire proper housing and land. The Minister, MEC and Mayors of the respective municipalities will address community meetings; walk about in the recently-built homes and view progress on the on-going projects.
