Today the Minister of Human Settlements, Water and Sanitation met with executive managers from the newly merged Departments of Human Settlements and Water & Sanitation. Accompanied by Deputy Ministers Pamela Tshwete and David Mahlobo, the Minister received briefings from the Directors-General outlining key strategic priority areas.

‘We are about to conquer!’ said the enthused Minister, citing that she is going to ensure that there is a favourable environment for staff of the Department to give their best to serve South Africans.

“I am humbled to be assigned to lead the Human Settlements, Water and Sanitation Sector. I am looking forward to be working with all the role players including the provincial Departments, MECs and related agencies,” she added.
