LEARNERS AFFECTED BY RECENT FIRES IN THE NOMZAMO INFORMAL SETTLEMENT RECEIVE RELIEF

Following a fire that destroyed more than 400 shacks affecting learners from Nomzamo Primary School in Strand, Cape Town, Human Settlements Deputy Minister, Pam Tshwete will visit the school tomorrow 04 February 2020.

As part of her back to school campaign aimed at alleviating the plight of learners in communities affected by high rate of unemployment and other socio-economic inequalities, Deputy Minister Tshwete, accompanied by Dr Badr Kazi of Gift of the Givers will handover more than 1000 stationery packs to the affected learners.
