The Minister of Human Settlements Tokyo Sexwale accompanied by the premier of North West province, Thandi Modise, MEC for Human Settlements, Desbo Mohono and the mayor of Kgetleng Local Municipality, Onica Medupe will handover housing units in Mazista/Skierlik.

Amongst beneficiaries of this project are the survivors of the “Skierlik Shootings”, the elderly, child headed households and the disabled.

The Mazista\Skierlik Resettlement Project is aimed at ensuring adequate infrastructure provision, accelerated service delivery and the promotion of racial harmony and peaceful co-existence in the community and its surrounding areas.
