Human settlements Minister, Tokyo Sexwale will join the Premier of KwaZulu Natal tomorrow to visit victims of the recent floods that have left 88 people dead and 147 others seriously injured.

The visit follows a cabinet decision to declare the uThukela, Sisonke, Amajuba, Ilembe and eThekwini as provincial disaster areas. This declaration is based on the magnitude of damage experienced and assessed.

The programme will start at the Mnambithi Council Chambers followed by walk about at Driefontein at 10:00 am.

Members of the media are invited to join the Minister and the Premier.
