The Minister of Human Settlements, Tokyo Sexwale will officially launch 341 units of the Morgan’s Village III affordable housing project in Mitchell’s Plain, Cape Town.

The project is a partnership between the National Department of Human Settlements, Western Cape Department of Human Settlements, National Housing Finance Corporation (NHFC) and the Cape Town Community Housing Company (CTCHC).

The Morgan’s Village III project was developed using bridging finance provided by NHFC and this money will subsequently be financed by the individuals’ 20 year loan terms. NHFC is a Human Settlements institution with the principal mandate of broadening and deepening access to affordable housing finance for the low-to-middle income South African households.
