The Minister of Human Settlements, Mmamoloko Kubayi, has received and accepted a letter of resignation with immediate effect from Dr Tshilidzi Ratshitanga, the Chairperson of the Housing Development Agency (HDA).

Dr Ratshitanga resigned to pursue other responsibilities that would not allow him to discharge his duties at the agency. The Minister thanks Dr Ratshitanga for his leadership since his appointment on 26 November 2021 and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
Dr Manqoba Soni will act as the Interim Chairperson until the appointment of a permanent Chairperson is finalised.
