The Minister of Human Settlements, Mmamoloko Kubayi, and Deputy Minister Pam Tshwete, together with the Limpopo MEC for Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements, and Traditional Affairs Basikopo Makamu, will tomorrow, 25 May 2023, visit the Mopani District Municipality to handover subsidized Rural Housing Project to the indigent and convene a community imbizo and a service fair with members of the community in the Greater Giyani Local Municipality in Limpopo.

The housing Project is comprised of close to 200 units covering 7 villages. Minister Kubayi will symbolically handover 10 units in Nkomo A Village. This forms part of a follow-up visit to the province to track progress made since the minister's visit in October 2021.

The Minister and the delegation will also engage local and traditional leaders as well as community members to partner with the government in speeding up the delivery of sustainable human settlements in the Mopani District.
