MINISTER KUBAYI TO VISIT KWAZULU-NATAL FOLLOWING DEVASTATING STORMS
Human Settlements Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi, will today,15 April 2022,visit the province of KwaZulu-Natal to assess the impact of the devastating floods that have affected many parts of the province.
Minister Kubayi’s visit is part of a co-ordinated inter-governmental efforts to ensure that affected families and communities are provided with the required support after the destruction of properties and loss of lives.
The visit by the Ministerial delegation including Water and Sanitation Minister Senzo Mchunu and Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula, amongst others, follows this week’s visit by President Cyril Ramaphosa to some of the affected areas.
The MEC for Human Settlements and Public Works in KwaZulu-Natal, Jomo Sibiya, will form part of the delegation.
