Minister of Human Settlements Lindiwe Sisulu, MP will tomorrow, 28 March 2017 deliver a key note address at the South African Housing Regulatory Authority’s (SHRA) annual engagement with Social Housing Institutions (SHI).

As part of the engagements, Minister Sisulu will discuss with delegates among other matters, the development of a thriving Social Housing Sector which will enable and guide growth in the industry.

The SHRA is an agent of the Department of Human Settlements responsible for regulating the Social Housing Sector in South Africa; approval, administration and disbursement of institutional investment and the consolidated capital grants (named the Restructuring Capital Grant and Institutional Subsidy). The SHRA promotes an enabling environment for the growth and development of the Social Housing Sector
