Minister Sisulu to handover houses to indigent households in Winterveldt

The Minister of Human Settlements, Water and Sanitation, Lindiwe Sisulu, will tomorrow, 27 August 2020 handover houses to indigent households in Winterveldt, City of Tshwane.

This after Minister Sisulu listened to Radio 702 and learnt of the plight of one of the households, Gogo Mndebele whose house had collapsed during the heavy rains in December 2019.

Gogo Mndebele lived with her grandchildren one of whom had a disability until she had to move them to relatives for their own safety due to the falling structure.

Another beneficiary will be a widower, Mr Nkabinde a father of seven children whom among his children is a disabled son.

With the assistance of the sponsors within the human settlements family the houses have been built, furnished and ready to be handed over to the beneficiaries.
