Minister Sisulu Sends Condolences To The Kotane Family

Minister of Human Settlements, Water and Sanitation, Lindiwe Sisulu has sent her sincerest condolences to the family and friends on the passing of a struggle stalwart Mrs Kotane.

Minister Sisulu said of Mrs Kotane, she stands tall amongst the countless selfless men and women who sacrificed their livelihoods for us to enjoy the freedoms of a democratic South Africa.

Minister Sisulu also made a call to all the Provinces to accelerate housing delivery during 2021 in honour of Mrs Kotane.

“Let us commit ourselves to clearing the military veterans housing backlog and ensuring those who want to build their homes are given the necessary support. Mama Kotane will be at peace knowing that her fellow military veterans are housed in dignity. During this year 2021 we should all do our part in making a remarkable difference in the lives of our veterans”, said Minister Sisulu.
