The Minister of Human Settlements, Lindiwe Sisulu, KwaZulu Natal Premier, and MEC of Human Settlements, Ravi Pillay will visit Kwa-Dukuza as part of the National Imbizo Focus Week.
The National Cabinet recently approved the hosting of the National Imbizo Focus Week from 7 to 12 April 2015 under the theme “Together we move South Africa forward”.
The Human Settlements Imbizo in Kwa-Dukuza will be characterized by visits to Rocky Park project, handover of houses to the senior citizens and door to door visits at Groutville Priority 2 and mass community engagement at Thembeni Sports Field.
These activities provide a platform for the political leadership to interact directly with South Africans, listen to community issues and assess progress in the implementation of government programmes in its quest to provide housing for all.
The Human Settlements Imbizo will take place as follows:
