The Ministry of Human Settlements warns the public about various fake social media accounts established under the pretext of being official accounts of Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi and Deputy Minister Pam Tshwete.

These fake social accounts often spread scams, promote phony products and even share lies and misinformation.

Deputy Minister Tshwete does not have any social media accounts.

While Minister Kubayi is active on social media, we wish to implore the public to not fall victim to scammers and make use of the official Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts, as follows:

Members of the public are urged to always be on the alert and report any suspicious social media accounts or platfroms used to impersonate public representatives.
