Sanral gives seventy-two hectares of land to the Department of Human Settlements in Knysna
Sanral has given 72 hectares of land in Knysna to the Department of Human Settlements as part of efforts to speed up the delivery of decent housing in the country.
The Ministers of Human Settlements, Lindiwe Sisulu and Dipuo Peters of Transport will on Friday, 19 February 2016, sign the transfer agreement of the land in Knysna in Western Cape.
The Housing Development Agency (HDA), an agency of the Department of Human Settlements which is responsible for managing the development of human settlements projects .
Minister Sisulu will also attend an Imbizo on Friday to interact with the community and discuss service delivery issues in the area. The Deputy Minister of Human Settlements Zou Kota-Fredericks and members of the Parliament’s Portfolio Committee will also attend the event.
