TODAY DEPUTY MINISTER WILL HANDOVER A HOUSE TO 88 YEAR OLD WOMEN STRUGGLE STALWART, CAROLINE DUNGA
Deputy Minister of Human Settlements, Zou Kota-Fredericks, responsible for amongst other things, the department’s programme for destitute people will today handover a house to women struggle stalwart, Caroline Dunga.
The 88 year old women struggle stalwart and political detainee participated in the 1956 defiance campaign and was one of the marchers alongside the likes of Dora Tamana.
The house built by women contractors from South African Women in Construction (SAWIC) Western Cape and Old Mutual will be handed over as follows.
