Minister of Human Settlements Mmamoloko Kubayi will tomorrow, Thursday, 10 October 2024, brief members of the National Council of Provinces (NCOP), through a virtual platform, on some of her key responsibilities as assigned to her by President Cyril Ramaphosa.

The briefing will take place against the background of oral replies to members of the NCOP, which will cover a wide range of issues related to human settlements development including efforts to deliver large human settlements projects , with a particular focus on Gauteng as well as efforts to hold contractors in the sector accountable and tackle challenges related to securing land for human settlements

The Minister will also brief members of parliament in the NCOP on efforts to improve policy development in the Human Settlements sector through improved research and planning capabilities.
