DEPUTY MINISTER MAHAMBEHLALA LEADS THE SECTOR TRANSFORMATION DRIVE, EXPOSING YOUTH TO CAREER AND ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES
Human Settlements Deputy Minister, Tandi Mahambehlala, will host a Youth Career Expo and Exhibition in the Western Cape to empower learners in Grades 10,11 and 12, unemployed graduates and youth about available opportunities within the human settlements sector. This will be in partnership with various sector stakeholders, including those operating in the field of youth development.
The Career Expo, which will bring together public and private sector institutions, combines education and entertainment to create an engaging and impactful event to educate, motivate and inspire the youth as they decide on their career path.
Deputy Minister Mahambehlala will be accompanied by the Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Education, Khomotjo Joy Maimela (MP), CEO of the Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority (PPRA) Thato Ramaili and the Executive Deputy Chairperson of The National Youth Development Agency (NYDA), Karabo Mohale amongst other dignitaries.
