The Minister of Human Settlements Thembi Simelane together with the Speaker of Amathole District Municipality, Cllr Onke Mgunculu will, tomorrow, 06 July 2026 host a Youth Career Expo and Exhibition in the Amatole District Municipality, Eastern Cape. 

The Career Expo is part of government efforts to empower leaners and youth by exposing them to different career and scholarship opportunities. The Expo will also assist learners with university application support. 

Various Government Departments, Tertiary Institutions and the private sector are expected to participate in the Career Expo and Exhibition to showcase available opportunities and services aimed at assisting learners to further their education post matric. 

The Minister and the Speaker will be joined by the Deputy Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Prince Burns-Ncamashe, and Mayor of Amahlathi Local Municipality, Cllr Nomakhosazana Nongqayi.
