DEPUTY MINISTER TANDI MAHAMBEHLALA AND MEC DUMA TO LEAD THE TITLE DEEDS HANDOVER IN KZN

 
The Deputy Minister of Human Settlements, Tandi Mahambehlala, and KZN MEC for Human Settlements, Siboniso Duma, will on Friday, 11 September 2026, lead the handover of 630 title deeds to beneficiaries of the Masinenge and Louisiana Housing Projects at Ray Nkonyeni Local Municipality.
 

The handover forms part of the Department of Human Settlements' ongoing efforts to accelerate registration and issuing of title deeds to the beneficiaries of fully subsidized housing programme.
 

A title deed ensures to security of tenure, unlocks household asset value, and confirms legal ownership of a home, thus bringing peace of mind to families and future generations.
 

As part of the programme, the Deputy Minister, MEC Duma and Mayors of Ugu District and Ray Nkonyeni Local Municipalities, Cllr Sikhumbuzo Mqadi and Cllr Zodwa Mzindle, will also embark on a house-to-house handover of title deeds to the senior citizens.
