A sod turning ceremony to kick start a major human settlement project in Lephalale by Human Settlements Minister Tokyo Sexwale and Limpopo MEC for Co-operative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs, Clifford Motsepe, will be held tomorrow.

The project arises out of a vision for a new town which is due to unfold around the famous mega Medupi Power Station. The 30 000 housing units will help in enhancing development in the area over a period of 7 to 10 years.

The Minister and the MEC will be joined by Lephalale Executive Mayor Jack Maeko and will from there, interact with the communities of Letlapaleborethe and surrounding areas on issues of service delivery.
