MINISTER SISULU AND MECS OF HUMAN SETTLEMENTS TO VISIT KNYSNA
The Minister of Human Settlements, Lindiwe Sisulu, MP and Provincial MECs of Human Settlements will tomorrow, Thursday, 22 June 2017 visit Knysna to assess the damage and formulate a final response on housing challenges faced by local residents.
At the recent meeting between the Minister and all MECs of Human Settlements it was agreed that an additional capacity which includes management of displaced people would be extended to the Western Cape Human Settlements.
Also expected to be in attendance are some members of the Portfolio Committee on Human Settlements and Select Committee on Public Services and representatives of the South African Local Government Association (SALGA).
